An impressive Nagar Kirtan was organised on the eve of Shri Guru Nanak Ji Parkash Utsav from the historic Gurudwara Nanaksar Toba located opposite the new grain market. Hundreds of devotees joined the holy procession, cleaned roads and enchanted religious hymns as the procession passed through the main roads.
A grand welcome was given to the Nagar Kirtan by MLA Sandeep Jakhar near the old market committee complex. He presented Siropa to the Panjpyaras in the presence of Mayor Vimal Thatai and other eminent citizens. At the same time, apples were served to the participants laid by the workers of Surinder Jakhar Trust amidst prayers and slogans to strengthen communal harmony and peace.
