Chandigarh Police has organized its 3rd Hackathon events in collaboration with Software Company Infosys Pvt. Ltd, IT Park, Chandigarh and sponsored by HDFC Bank Chandigarh, as per the guidelines of MHA, Government of India under Cyber Swachtha Mission and celebrating National Cyber Security Awareness Month October, 2022.
In this event total 14 teams consisting 48 participants from various IT universities i.e. PEC Chandigarh, Chandigarh University, The North Cap University, Gurugram Haryana, IIT Jodhpur, Rajasthan etc. qualified to work on different problems statement assigned to them like Ensuring Safety & Security of Women & Senior Citizen using IT, Cyber Space patrolling for anti-national & illegal activities, Integration of CCTV fees from various cameras, etc.(SUBHEAD)
The event started on 28.10.2022 and successfully closed on 29.10.2022 in the Infosys campus, IT Park. In the Event Sh. Raj Kumar Singh, IPS, IGP, UT, Chandigarh was the Chief Guest and Sh. Manoj Kumar, IPS, SSP/Police Head Quarters, Sh. Ketan Bansal, IPS, SP/Cyber Crime, Sh. A. Venkatesh, DANIPS, DSP/Cyber Crime & Inspector Ranjit Singh, SHO/PS- Cyber Crime were present at the time of closing the event. The winner teams of Hackathon 3rd are JMIT Unplugged & Chandigarh University, IIT Jodhpur (Joint 2nd winners). The winners will be awarded with handsome cash rewards.
