A case FIR No. 160, U/S 420, 120-B IPC has been registered in PS-17, Chandigarh on the complaint of Jagdeep Singh, SDE, Municipal Corporation, Chandigarh against Sunil Chander Lal Purswani, M/s Arya Toll Infra, SCO No. 55-57, 2nd floor, Sector 8C, Chandigarh wherein it is reported that Municipal Corporation had allotted the work of 25 paid parking site and one multi level parking in Chandigarh on 16.06.2017.
The 7th installment of license fee amounting 3,69,50,0000/- was due on 19.12.2018 against which the contractor was directed to deposit the due amount through reminders but the contractor submitted a cheque bearing amount 3.69 crore which was further rejected by the bank. Investigation of the case is in progress.
