Prof (Dr.) Raj Kumar, Vice Chancellor, Panjab University inaugurated an elevator and a herbal garden named 'Amrita Aarogya Vatika' in Amrita Pritam Hall, Girls Hostel no. 9. Herbal garden has a number of medicinal plants like dhritkumari, nirgundi, brahmi, Tulsi, shyama Tulsi, lemon grass etc.
Prof (Dr.) Jagtar Singh, DSW; Prof (Dr.) Ashok Kumar, ADSW, wardens and other officials of the University, staff and residents of the hostel were also present on the occasion.
