In major breakthrough, the Chandigarh Police has succeed by arresting one accused Abhishek Chaudhary B.A. Final year student R/o Village Kansal, Distt Mohali, involved in the incidents of vandalizing the e-smart bikes reported regularly in Chandigarh and recovered e-smart bike from his possession.
The incidents of vandalizing the e-smart bikes reported regularly in the city. On 29.9.2022, a video was viral in which one person was vandalizing an e-smart bike. After going through the video, one suspected person was apprehended to verify the facts of the video.
After verification, it has been found that a person Abhishek Chaudhary R/o Village Kansal, Distt Mohali Punjab vandalized the e-smart bike. Thereafter, the information was given to the office of e-smart bike Chandigarh and on this information Manager Operation e- smart bike Chandigarh came to Police Station and identified the e-smart bike, which was missing since 11.9.2022.
After taking a complaint from concerned, a FIR no. 103 dated 30.9.2022 u/s 411,427 IPC has been registered in Police Station Sector-3, Chandigarh. During the course of investigation the above said person has been arrested and recovered the e-smart bike from his possession.
Today, the accused has been produced before court where he has been sent to judicial custody for 14 days. The investigation of the case is going on.
