INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATED AT GOVT. COLLEGE OF YOGA EDUCATION CHANDIGARH

76th Independence Day was celebrated at Govt. College of Yoga Education and Health, Sector 23 A, Chandigarh as a part of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav .

On this occasion the National flag was hoisted by the principal of the college Dr. Sapna Nanda accompanied by the staff, public and the students of the college. On the occasion principal Dr Nanda gave a brief description of the activities that were taken up by the central government.

A cultural programme was also organised as a part of the Independence day celebrations under the guidance of Dr. Gunanidhi Sharma. Students of the college Manisha and Seema gave a mesmerizing yoga demonstration. B.Ed. Yoga students Nishu, Guljahan, Deeksha and Anu Kumari performed a group dance on a patriotic song. Mr. Kulwant Singh , faculty of the college sung a patriotic song which was apt for the occasion
