The Chandigarh Police achieved success by cracking 02 burglary cases & 02 Vehicle theft cases with the arrest of accused (i) Raj kumar @ Nepali S/o Harinder Sahu R/o H No. C-401 Sanjay labour colony, Industrial area Phase-1 Chd Age 19 year. (ii) Sachin @ Ayus S/o Fulkender R/o Near Gurudwara Hallo Majra UT Chd age 19 year. (iii) Deepak @ Bangali S/o Pappu R/o H No. 29/3 EWS Flat Maloya Chd Age 20 year.
On 9.07.2022, Sh. Noshad Ahmed S/o Sh. Ahmedulla R/o # 2429 Sector-27/C Chandigarh running a Verka Booth No. 27/3 in Sector-27/C Chandigarh reported that someone has burgled his Verka Booth last night by unknown person by breaking the Lock of shutter & stolen cash Rs. 5000, Verka desi ghee, chocolate & Documents .
And the same day Ashish S/o Ashok kumar Mahajan R/o 138 Sec-38A Chd also stated that his Verka Booth No. 27/6 Sector-27/C Chandigarh and also burgled & stolen cash Rs. 4000, Verka desi ghee, chocolate, edible items & Documents. In this regard, case FIR No. 86 Dt:- 9.07.2022 U/S 380,457 IPC has been registered in PS-26 CHD.(SUBHEAD)
On dated 18.07.2022, Sh. Ravinder kandari working as postal assistant at post office sec 27D Chandigarh reported that someone has burgled the post office sec 27D intervening night dated 16/17.07.2022 after broken the back side gate and stolen cash Rs.9200 from the cash chest & some documents. In this regard FIR no. 91 Dt:- 18.07.2022 U/S 380,457 IPC has registered in PS-26 CHD.
The special team headed by SHO/PS-26 under the direct supervision of Ms. Palak Goel, SDPO/East. After sustained field work, diligent tracking and continuous sincere efforts, the team did commendable job by arresting accused namely (i) Raj kumar @ Nepali S/o Harinder Sahu R/o H No. C-401 Sanjay labour colony Industrial area PH-01 chd age 19 year (ii) Sachin @ Ayus S/o Fulkender R/o Near Gurudwara Hallo Majra UT chd age 19 year (iii) Deepak @ Bangali S/o Pappu R/o H No. 29/3 EWS Flat Maloya CHD Age 20 year on 18.07.2022 from Village Hallo Majra, Chandigarh and worked out the cases.
INTERROGATION & MODUS OPRANDI:
During interrogation, it revealed that accused are habitual criminal , drugs addict’s & Gambler. As and when they needs money for their livelihood/daily needs, drugs & gambling then they commits such crime.
During sustained interrogation, accused disclosed that they had also committed burglaries in Sector- 27, Ram darbar, Industrial Area Chandigarh, Baltana , Zirakpur (Mohali ) & Panchkula Haryana .They also stolen 02 Activa from Baltana & Panchkula. Accused produced before the court and are on police remand.
