FOUR WOMEN DRUG PEDDLERS ALONG WITH CANNABIS ARRESTED BY ANTI-NARCOTICS CELL

A team of Police officials of Anti-Narcotics Cell, Dwarka District comprising HC Hetram, HC Sushil, HC Kuldeep, W/HC Sonu, Ct Mukesh, W/HC Anita, W/HC Sanju, W/HC Poonam, W/Ct Monika, W/Ct Kewal, W/Ct Sanju, W/HC Jyoti, W/HC Savita, W/HC Sonu, W/Ct Kirosta, W/Ct Franky, W/Ct Babita, W/HC Mithilesh, W/HC Deepika under the supervision of Insp. Subhash Chand, I/C Anti-Narcotics Cell Dwarka and overall supervision of Sh. Ram Avtar, ACP/Ops Dwarka has arrested 04 drugs peddlers and seized 6.47 kg of cannabis. 

As per directed by Worthy DCP/Dwarka the team of Anti-Narcotics Cell Dwarka is being motivated and sensitized to develop intelligence and information, who indulge in drugs supply in Dwarka.

In this regard on 18/07/2022, staff of Anti-Narcotics Cell received secret information that some women sell drugs at Indira market near Aanaj Mandi, Najafgarh. As per information a trap was laid down at Indira market, Najafgarh, where four women were found suspicious. On suspicion they were apprehended by the team. During their search illicit cannabis were recovered from their possession.

M. Harsha Vardhan, DCP, said, during interrogation, they disclosed their identity as  Neelam R/o Najafgarh, Delhi, Age 35 years.  Sunita R/o Najafgarh, Delhi, Age 35 years. 3. Neeta R/o Najafgarh, Delhi, Age 34 years. 4. Savitri R/o Najafgarh, Delhi, Age 34 years. As per recovery, a case vide FIR No. 382/22 dated 19/07/22 U/s 8/20 NDPS Act, was registered at PS Baba Haridas Nagar, New Delhi, and the investigation was taken up to nab the main supplier. 

RECOVERY: 6.47 kg of cannabis. 04 mobile phones being used in commission of crime.
