On the occasion of ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’ to commemorate 75th year of Independence of India, ‘BSF JANBAZ Motorcycle Show – 2022’ was organized at Lovely Professional University, Jalandhar.
The occasion was graced by the presence of Shri Jaspreet Singh, IAS, Dy Commissioner, Jalandhar, as chief guest, Shri Er HR Singla (Director General, LPU), Dr Sanjay Modi (Pro Vice Chancellor, LPU), Dr Lovi Raj Gupta (Pro Vice Chancellor, LPU), Dr Monica Gulati (Executive Dean & Registrar, LPU), Ms Khushbir Kaur, DSP (Arjuna Awardee, Olympian) and Shri Sarang Vicky (folk singer).
During the event, the team put up a stunning display and showcased their skills. Rows of uniformed bike riders, standing in perfect coordination perched on their Royal Enfield bullets left the spectators astonished. The daredevils under the command of their team captain Inspector Awadesh Kumar displayed various intrepid maneuvers like neck riding, fish riding, chest jump, Janbaz jump, etc.
The show was witnessed by various dignitaries of State administration, Police, BSF, students / staff members of LPU and the local public of Jalandhar.(SUBHEAD)
The chief guest was welcomed by Shri Asif Jalal, IPS, IG BSF Punjab Frontier. The chief guest made audience aware about the initiatives taken by district administration, Jalandhar, towards the health, education, law and order and infrastructural development, besides elaborating about BSF Janbaz Motorcycle Team and its performance.
Chief Guest Shri Jaspreet Singh, IAS, Dy Commissioner, Jalandhar lauded the riders for their self-determination, mental alertness, unmatched courage, physical stamina and precision in handling of motor cycles and wished success to the team for their future endeavors.
