Er Ravijeet Singh today took over as new president of Rotary Club Mohali here at the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) in an impressive installation ceremony of his Board.

Taking over as new head, Rotarian Er. Ravijeet Singh underlined the future vision of the organistion as overarching responsibility to ensure holistic social development. Each section of society must get equal focus, support and assistance wherever needed through policy approach, he said further adding that Rotary as one family would always be up to the task.

Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Guest MP Anandpur Sahib Manish Tewari lauded Rotary for being a colossal repository of assistance to millions of those in need.

The immense role played by each of the Rotarian in nation building is cherished by every Indian, Tewari added to a thunderous applause from the packed hall. On the occasion, Tewari assured his government’s unstinted support in all endeavors of social and community service and announced a grant of rupees 5 Lakh for the newly adopted village by Rotary Club , Mohali(SUBHEAD)

Notably, the Rotary Club has long been at the forefront of stimulating social change and development through its various sustaining endeavors .

The newly elected president Ravijeet shared the club’s vision which this year will mainly focus on basic educational and adult literacy, community development, environmental and health hazards, peacebuilding and conflict amongst adolescents and maternal and child health.
