Dangarkhera village near Abohar has once again come into limelight as a maximum number of its youth were selected as ETT teachers recently by the Education Department. Among them are 14 girls and 16 boys.    

A unique program called “You are proud of Dangarkhera” was conducted on Sunday at Basanti Mata Mandir to felicitate the successful candidates. Five youth have recently been recruited as police constables, 4 Veterinary Inspectors, 5 Nursing Staff, 3 Master Cadre Teachers, 5 in the Punjab State Power Corporation Limited, 2 got bank service and two students got 9th and 13th position in the merit list of X exam conducted by the Punjab School Education Board. Also, police sub inspector Sunita Rani has been promoted as Inspector.

All of them were honoured by veterans at the largely attended function.
