The Police of Mauli Jagran, police station reported to have registered a case FIR No. 90, U/S 406, 420, 341, 418, 120-B IPC duping Rs. 53 lacs.
The case was registered on the complaint of Raj Kumar R/o # 1745, Deep Complex, Hallo Majra, Chandigarh who alleged that Daljit Singh R/o # 232, Sector-23-A, Chandigarh cheated Rs. 53 lakh regarding sale/purchase of Plot in 2019. No arrest has been made so far. The investigation of the case is in progress.
In an other case of cheating case FIR No. 45, U/S 420, 406, 120-B IPC has been registered in PS-49, Chandigarh on the complaint of Gopal Attri R/o # 575, Village Burail, Chandigarh who alleged that a lady resident of Sector-51, Chandigarh cheated total Rs. 17,84,000/- for providing flat under oustee quota between 02.07.2020 to 10.08.2020. The woman have been earlier booked also on cheating so many people.
CHEATERs BOOKED ON PRETEXT OF PROVIDING LOAN FROM BAJAJ FINANCE COMPANY
A case FIR No. 05, dated 09.07.2022 U/S 419, 420, 120B IPC has been registered in PS-Cyber Crime, Chandigarh on the complaint of Vasudev R/o # 167, Sector-55, Palsora, Chandigarh who reported that unknown person cheated Rs. 15000/- from complainant regarding providing loan from Bajaj Finance Company on 08-09-2021.
Similarling case FIR No. 06, dated 09.07.2022 U/S 419, 420, 120B IPC has been registered in PS-Cyber Crime, Chandigarh on the complaint of Dheeraj Singh R/o # 232, Sector-22-A, Chandigarh who reported that unknown person cheated Rs. 86,000/- from complainant regarding providing loan from Bajaj Finance Company on 10-08-2021. Investigation of the cases were in progress , but till date no arrest has been made so far.
