The Passing out Parade of 125 Recruit Constables including 25 women Recruit Constables of 117 batch, was held at Delhi Police Academy, Jharoda Kalan New Delhi. They took oath in a ceremonial parade after successfully completing their basic training. The Chief Guest, Dr. Rishi Pal, IPS, Director of Delhi Police Academy took the salute of Parade.
Total 125 Constables were inducted after completing their basic training from the Academy. They are well educated and technically sound. Out of these one recruit constable is MCA, 02 MBA, 01 M.Sc, 01 M.Com, 02 M.A, 05 B.Tech, 03 BCA, 01 BHM, 03 BBA, 13 B.Sc, 10 B.Com, 25 BA and 58 recruit constables are intermediate. They are from different states cutting across India with 35 trainees from Delhi, 39 from Haryana, 29 from Utter Pradesh, 12 from Rajasthan, 03 each from Uttrakhand and Himachal Pradesh, 02 from Kerala and one each from Jharkhand and Manipur.
(MOREPIC2)On this occasion, Sh. Subodh Goswami, Deputy Director, Delhi Police Academy welcomed the chief guest and congratulated the trainees on completion of their training. He reiterated that during this training the trainees have been imparted knowledge of wide spectrum of topics viz. Law, Police Procedure, Computer Science, Human Behaviour & Criminology and Personality Development. For the development of their physical abilities they have been trained in PT, Parade, Gym, Yoga and Games.

Dr. Rishi Pal, the Director of Delhi Police Academy congratulated the 125 recruit constables for successfully completing their basic training emphasizing the importance of training for effective and efficient police working.
The zeal and enthusiasm of all these trainees is commendable, said the Chief Guest. The later advised them to learn the field working deeply after joining various Districts and Units to be capable of performing duties efficiently. He also called upon them to be ready for law and order arrangements, fighting against terrorism, VIP security, helping weaker sections and traffic management. The chief guest asserted that the recruit constables should make good relations with public to create belief among people and to improve the image of Police.
