Team of Special Cell SR led by Insp Shivkumar and Insp Pawan Kumar supervised by ACP Attar Singh have solved a case of sensational shoot out at the house of an Assistant Superintendent of Jail in Delhi by arresting three persons including two juveniles.
Arrested persons are Shubham Baliyan (age 20 yrs) r/o Garhi Nawaba Muzaffarnagar UP and his two juvenile associates. They were apprehended on 29/06/2022 near Pulia at main road near Village Holambi Khurd Delhi.
All three were wanted in a case of shoot out in village Hirankudna ie at the house of an Assistant Superintendent of Jail presently posted in Mandoli jail. Accused persons had fired at his house in order to intimidate him as he had allegedly rebuked Yudhvir @ Kala Pandit, brother of one of the juveniles who is lodged in Mandoli jail under said Jail Superintendent. Juvenile wanted to teach jail official a lesson for alleged humiliation of his brother by him in jail.
On 29/06/2022, Insp Shiv Kumar got an information that Subham and his juvenile associate would come on a robbed Hero bike from Holambi Khurd side on 29/06/2022 between 6 pm to 7 pm to meet their another juvenile associate near Pulia on main road near village. A team was formed and a trap was laid near said pulia near Village Holambi Khurd on 29/06/2022.(SUBHEAD)
Mr. Jasmeet Singh, IPS, Dy. Commissioner of Police, Special Cell/SR, DelhiA person identified by the informer was found standing near Pulia at main road Holambi Khurd and waiting for someone. Shubham with his juvenile associate riding on above hero bike came to juvenile. Trio were surrounded by the members of the team and they asked the trio to surrender but Shubham and one of the juveniles started firing towards the members of the police team. Members of the team also fired in self defence in order to overpower them. Finally all three were surrounded, nabbed and disarmed by the team members.
Total 3 rounds were fired ie. 2 by Shubham and his juvenile associate and 1 by the police team. A single shot pistol of .315 with one live cartridge was recovered from one of the juveniles. Another single shot pistol of .315 with one live cartridge from Shubham and 6 live cartridges of .315 from second juvenile were recovered. 3 Empies recovered from spot were also seized. One bike of make Hero HF Deluxe found robbed from the area of Kundli in Distt Sonipat, Haryana by the arrested trio at gun point on 27/06/2022 was also recovered from them. Said bike was used by the trio in firing at the house of Assistant Jail Superintendent on 28/06/2022 as three had come on that bike and also escaped from spot after firing by using the same bike
A case under relevant sections of law has been registered in PS Special Cell regarding nabbing of three by the team of Special Cell. Investigation of said case is in progress.
