A passenger namely Sakshi Lohani of GK-2, New Delhi had landed from Kolkata to IGI Airport Delhi by Vistara flight on May 30. On arrival at IGI Airport, she reached her home. However on the next day ie 01/06/2022, she noticed that her diamond bracelet was missing from her wrist.
The passenger approached to the Police Station IGI Airport immediately and requested to trace her bracelet. The matter was brought to the notice of senior officers and the task to trace the lost bracelet was assigned to ASI Latur Singh and HC Anil Kumar under the supervision of Inspr.
Yashpal Singh, SHO/IGIA and guidnace of Ms Tanu Sharma, DCP/IGIA. The staff patienty scanned the CCTV footages of relevant place which indicated that diamond bracelet might have fell down on conveyer belt while the passenger was lifting her luggage at T3 terminal of IGI Airport.
Thereafter physical search of the entire conveyor belt No. 01 was made and after sustained efforts, the staff managed to trace the missing diamond bracelet which was lying inside the edge of the conveyor belt. The traced bracelet was handed over to the passenger.
By tracing the missing diamond bracelet immediately after reporting the incident, IGI Airport Police personnel have done a commendable work and have shown their dedication, honesty and alertness towards the public service. Both personnel are being suitably rewarded.
