MOHALI RESIDENT BOOKED ON CHEAT BY PROVIDING TOTAL LOSS CAR FOR RS.9.21 LACS

A case FIR No. 88 dated 25.05.2022 U/S 420 IPC has been registered in PS-Industrial Area, UT, Chandigarh on the complaint of Japinder Singh Walia R/o # Plot No. 09, Industrial Area, Phase-1, UT Chandigarh against Harish Mittu @ Vicky R/o # 3129, Maloya Colony, UT Chandigarh and presently residing at Homeland Heights Sector-70, Mohali (Pb).

The complainant alleged that he purchased a car bearing no. PB35P0051 from the alleged person i.e. Harish Mittu @ Vicky. The alleged Harish Mittu had told him that car in question is free from all sort of encumbrances, accidents or faults of any kind and is very good condition accordingly.

Later on, the complainant came to know that the said car was declared total loss by the insurance company. Now, the alleged persons denied to return his payment of Rs. 9.21 lacs. Thus, the alleged person Harish Mittu Alias Vicky has done cheating and grave fraud against the complainant. Investigation of the case is in progress.
