TRIALS HELD TO SELECT PUNJAB TEAM FOR NATIONAL ARCHERY CHAMPIONSHIP

Trials for selection of the Punjab team for the National Archery Championship players were conducted at Archery Range of LRS DAV Sr Sec Model School here.

The school was provided an opportunity to organize the trials by the Punjab Archery Association, during which the Senior Vice President of Punjab Archery Association and the founder of Archery in Abohar, Deendayal was the chief guest. He inaugurated the trials by shooting arrows.

The players selected in these trials will prove their mettle by representing Punjab state in the age group U-9 and U-14 at the NTPC Cherukuri Lenin Volga Memorial National Archery Championship at Rajahmundry, Andhra Pradesh from May 23 to 31.

Karthik Mittal in Indian Round, Shubhleen in Indian Round Girls, Aryan in Recurve Archery (Boys), Bishanjot in Recurve Archery (Girls), Mehar Pratap in Compound Archery (Boys), Manroop in Girls, Parth in Recurve Archery U-9 (girls), Dishant in Indian Round U-9 (boys), Harshita in girls were among the toppers.
