RANJI TROPHY 2021-22 : TRIPURA ALL OUT FOR 127 IN FIRST INNINGS, PUNJAB LOSE 7 WICKETS FOR 79 RUNS

PUNJAB VS TRIPURA match started today at Arun Jaitley Stadium, New Delhi. Punjab won the toss and elected to field first. Batting first Tripura Team scored 127 runs all out in 54.4 over’s in the first innings. Batting order for Tripura today collapsed badly specially the lower order against some fine bowling of Punjab.

For Tripura Captain & Wicketkeeper Pawan was the highest scorer, he scored 59 runs in 128 balls with help of 10 boundaries. 4 of the batsmen returned to pavilion without opening their score and 2 others could not enter into double digits.

For Punjab bowler Baltej claimed 5/33, Vinay Choudhary 2/22, Siddarth Kaul 2/50, and Sanvir 1/4.

For Punjab too the batsmen didn’t have a good day today, both the openers returned to pavilion when the score was just 10 runs. Bowling attack from Tripura was sharp and wickets kept falling at regular intervals.
