Nakul Bisht, a young resident of Chandigarh and a graduate in Political Science, brought pride to the Union Territory by delivering a powerful speech at the national-level 'Know Your Leader' event.

Nakul was sent as the representative of Chandigarh by the Mera Yuva Bharat (MY Bharat) organization and presented his Union Territory with a confident and energetic address on the life and principles of former Prime Minister, Shri Lal Bahadur Shastri. The prestigious program, which saw youth from across the country paying homage to national icons, was held on October 31, 2025, in the historic Central Hall of Samvidhan Sadan (Old Parliament House) in New Delhi. The event was organized by Parliamentary Research and Training Institute for Democracies(PRIDE).

Speaking from the symbolic and revered Central Hall, Nakul's oration was a highlight, deeply resonating with the spirit of the event which aims to instill a deeper appreciation for India's leadership heritage among the youth.

The event's participants, including Nakul and the entire youth contingent, also had the distinguished opportunity to meet the Hon'ble Speaker of the Lok Sabha, Shri Om Birla ji, who addressed the students and encouraged them to continue engaging with the democratic and historical roots of the nation.
