GAMC ORGANISES FIVE-DAY NATIONAL WORKSHOP

A five-day national workshop on the theme “Rediscovering Yourself: Be You, But Better” was organized at Gopichand Arya Mahila College, Abohar, under the aegis of CDC, Panjab University, Chandigarh. The workshop aimed to promote holistic personality development, self-awareness, and a positive life perspective among students.

The workshop commenced with an inspiring inaugural address by educationist Ajay Khosla, who emphasized that self-awareness is the first step towards success.

Paridhi Kataria delivered an insightful session on “Living the Change”, reminding students that change is the eternal truth of life. Those having the courage to improve themselves can bring about true change in society.

Major Neha Ghai, former Army Officer and Learning & Development Consultant, spoke on “Joy of Sharing: From Self to Society.” She highlighted that self-development should not remain confined to oneself but should benefit society as well.

Gaurav Vij, educationist and theatre artist, delivered an impactful lecture on “Communication: The Lost Art of Sharing,” emphasizing that effective communication forms the foundation of meaningful relationships and human connection in today’s era. Dr. Harpreet Kaur spoke on “Building a Strong Inner Personality”, explaining that a truly strong personality is one that harmonizes confidence, composure, and a positive outlook.

Suraj Setia, Personality Development and Soft Skills Trainer, guided the students on the importance of self-identity, cultural adaptability, and maintaining a balance between changing social values.

Principal Dr. Rekha Sood Handa congratulated Convener Paridhi Kataria, Co-convener Dr. Amardeep Singh, Vanita Makkar, Priyanka and Arushi for the event and said that such efforts would enhance students’ self-confidence, leadership qualities, and sense of social responsibility.
