BK Shantanu Bhai, National Coordinator of the Brahma Kumaris Media Wing, emphasized the need for problem-solving journalism in the present times, saying that journalism should be impartial, honest, transparent, and service-oriented. He asserted that journalism remains an important medium for social service, and even though commercialism has increased, journalists must continue to fulfill their positive responsibilities.

Shantanu Bhai, while recounting the roots of journalism at the Brahma Kumaris Sriganganagar Center, said that the world's first journalist was Narad Muni. The common belief is that Narad Muni used to spread messages from different worlds and cause conflicts, but this was not true. He not only highlighted problems but also suggested and implemented solutions. Therefore, current journalism should also be made problem-solving oriented to bring about positive change in society.

Comparing various media outlets, he said that while electronic and social media have gained widespread influence and reach, they still need to make significant efforts to meet the standards of truthfulness, factuality, and credibility of print media.

BK Mohini, in-charge of the Brahma Kumaris Sriganganagar Center, said that one should never abandon the truth, because abandoning the truth traps a person in a quagmire from which it becomes difficult to escape. BK Usha, media in-charge of the Center, expressed gratitude to all the participants.
