Police achieved a major success when the police team of Police Station Sector-39, under the directions of Ms. Kanwardeep Kaur, IPS W/S.S.P, Ms K.M Pariyanka, I.P.S, W/SP City under the supervision of Sh Anurag Daru, I.P.S, S.D.P.O/South West, & Inspector Ram Dayal SHO/PS Sec-39 arrested one Ravinder Singh Negi @ Ravi S/o Late Rajinder Negi R/o House No. 3384/2, Sector-40-D, Chandigarh Age-40 years who had murdered his mother namely Sushila Age-65 years recovered sharp edge knife used in the crime. A case FIR No. 129 dated 20.10.2025 U/s 103 (1) BNS was registered.
The complainant Sh Akash Bains Age-40 years reported that on 20.10.2025 at 7:00 AM, while he was consuming tea in his house, he heard a loud noise of crying from House No.3384/2, Sector-40-D, Chd. When he reached the said house, he found that the main door was bolted from inside. In the mean time, the other neighbourers are also gathered there. After while, Ravinder Negi @ Ravi come out from house and his clothes were stained with blood.
On this when he entered the house, he found that there was pool of blood. He at-once ranged on 112 and police visited the spot. When he along with police entered the house, he found that the mother of alleged Ravinder Singh Negi namely Sushila Age-60 years was lying on floor in unconscious condition in pool of blood which murdered by her son Ravinder Singh Negi.
During the course of investigation, accused Ravinder Singh Negi @ Ravi S/o Late Rajinder Negi R/o House No. 3384/2, Sector-40-D, Chandigarh Age-40 years arrested on 20.10.2025 and sent to judicial custody accordingly.
Accused Ravinder Singh Negi produced before the Hon’ble Court and sent to Judicial Custody at Model jail, Burail, Chandigarh.
