Punjab govt. announced two more i.e. on October 22 on the occasion of Vishavkarma Day and Guru Gaddi Day of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji October 23rd.
All schools, colleges, and government offices in the state will be closed during these holidays. These holidays will provide an opportunity for people to attend family and religious events.
On October 22nd is Vishwakarma Day and Govardhan Puja. These days will also be government holidays. On Vishwakarma Day, people worship their tools and machinery, while Govardhan Puja is celebrated according to religious traditions.
Finally, Guru Gaddi Day of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji will be celebrated on October 23rd. This is a very important day for followers of Sikhism. This day will also be a government holiday, and people will participate in religious programs.
During these holidays, schoolb children and government employees will stay at home and enjoy the festivals and traditions with their families and society.
