THREE-DAY SAHITYA DARSHAN AND BOOK FAIR LEAVES INDELIBLE MARK

The three-day Sahitya Darshan and Book Fair, organized at Shri Roshan Lal Jain Sarvhitkari Vidya Mandir in collaboration with Sarvhitkari Prakashan Society, Jalandhar, concluded on Monday. Hundreds of people visited the fair and purchased books.

On the final day, Dr. Rekha Sood Handa, Principal, Gopichand Arya Mahila College and Vinod Jyani, Director of Jyani Natural Farm, Katehra were the chief guests. Jyoti Batra, Principal of Bhojraj Pyari Devi Sarvhitkari Vidya Mandir, was a special guest. School Principal Jolly Monga introduced the guests to the Sahitya Darshan.

Dr. Rekha Sood Handa said that the Sahitya Darshan Book Fair has made Indian literature accessible to the people of Abohar. Vinod Jyani said that reading literature gives us insight into our history.

School principal Jolly Monga said that about 900 people visited the three-day book fair to explore Indian literature. Students from approximately 15 schools and colleges participated and purchased valuable publications.

President Faquir Chand Goyal said that the young generation needs to be acquainted with rich Indian culture and heritage
