PUNJAB ANNOUNCES PUBLIC HOLIDAY ON OCTOBER 7 ON VALMIKI JAYANTI

Punjab Govt. announced public holiday  on October 7 on the occasion of Valmiki Jayanti. All government offices, educational institutions and schools will remain closed during this time. Orders in this regard have been issued by the government.

There will be a holiday in Amritsar on October 8 on the occasion of Prakash Parv of Shri Guru Ramdas Ji. During this time, all government offices, educational institutes, boards and corporations will be closed in this district.

There there will be a holiday after noon on October 6 due to Valmiki Shobha Yatra on October 6 in Jalandhar. During this time, all schools, colleges and ITI (both government and private) institutes within the limits of the municipal corporation will remain closed in this district.
