BJP National General Secretary Tarun Chugh said that leaders like Rahul Gandhi, repeatedly rejected by the people, can never claim the legacy of true Jan Nayaks like Bharat Ratna Karpoori Thakur. Taking a sharp dig, Chugh said that those who wear Italian glasses and dance to the tunes of a foreign toolkit have already been rejected by the people — and they will continue to be rejected in the future.
Chugh said that the title of ‘Jan Nayak’ was bestowed upon Karpoori Thakur by the people. It is neither the property of Congress nor the inheritance of any dynasty. He added that Rahul Gandhi, repeatedly rejected by the people, may be the hero of foreign toolkits, but he can never be a Jan Nayak.
The BJP leader said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has launched schemes and created opportunities for the youth, which is real public service and the true honour of Karpoori Thakur’s ideology. In contrast, Congress and RJD remain trapped in the politics of corruption and dynastic rule.
Chugh asserted that Congress leaders’ frustration is evident. The truth is that only the people decide who is a Jan Nayak. The people have repeatedly rejected Rahul Gandhi, proving beyond doubt that he is merely the hero of a foreign toolkit, not the people’s leader.
