SC COMMISSION CHAIRMAN TO VISIT VILLAGE DHALEHTA DAY ON SEPT. 20

To address the matter concerning the alleged possession of land belonging to Sri Guru Ravidas Ji Gurdwara in Village Dhalehta, District Jalandhar, by the civil administration with police assistance, the Chairman of the Punjab State Scheduled Castes Commission, Sardar Jasvir Singh Garhi, will visit the village on September 20, 2025. 

A spokesperson of Punjab State Scheduled Castes Commission stated that the Commission had previously sought reports on this issue from the Jalandhar District Administration and the Senior Superintendent of Police, Jalandhar Rural.

The spokesperson further added that Chairman Sardar Jasvir Singh Garhi has decided to undertake this visit with the aim of resolving the land dispute in Village Dhalehta to maintain mutual harmony and brotherhood among the people.
