After schools in Punjab, orders have been issued by Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains to close colleges and universities till September 3.

Harjot Singh Bains in his tweet on X , said due to continuous heavy rains across Punjab since last night, all colleges, universities and polytechnic institutions will also remain closed till September 3, 2025 with immediate effect.

Harjot Bains further wrote that the responsibility for the welfare of students staying in hostels lies with the concerned administration.
