The Indian Army’s recruitment rally for aspiring soldiers has officially commenced in Ferozepur today. Held under the aegis of the Golden Arrow Division, this rally aims to select eligible male candidates from the districts of Ferozepur, Sri Muktsar Sahib, Faridkot, Fazilka and Bathinda.

The recruitment drive is a key part of the Army's ongoing efforts to induct young, talented and dedicated individuals into its ranks.

The rally, which will run for a week, is a comprehensive process designed to test the physical, mental and medical fitness of the candidates. The selection stages include a 1600m running tests, a physical fitness test (PFT), a physical measurement test (PMT) and a medical examination. This rigorous process ensures that only the most deserving candidates are chosen to serve the nation.

A spokesperson for the Golden Arrow Division highlighted the importance of the event. “This recruitment rally is more than just a selection process; it's an opportunity for the youth of Punjab to join a noble profession and serve the country with pride,” the spokesperson stated. “The Army offers not just a job, but a way of life that instills discipline, honor, and a sense of duty.”

The Golden Arrow Division has made extensive arrangements to ensure the smooth and fair conduct of the rally, including adequate security and medical facilities. Officials from the Golden Arrow Division are overseeing the event to maintain transparency and efficiency throughout the process.
