STANDING COMMITTEE RECONSTITUTED IN HARYANA TO DECIDE ON PUBLIC HOLIDAYS

The Haryana Government has reconstituted the Standing Committee to examine and consider all cases related to declaring any day as a Public Holiday in the state. The Human Resources Department issued an order in this regard.

As per the notification, the committee will be chaired by the Additional Chief Secretary & Financial Commissioner, Revenue & Disaster Management Department. Other members include the Additional Chief Secretary, School Education Department, and the Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister, while the Special Secretary, Human Resources Department will function as the Member Secretary.

The Member Secretary has been empowered to receive requests from the public or public representatives. The recommendations of the committee will be submitted to the government through the Human Resources Department for approval.
