SRIGANGANAGAR’S DAUGHTER GOPIKA AWARDED PHD

Dr. Gopika Juneja Monga, a talented daughter of Sriganganagar, has achieved a remarkable milestone through her dedication and hard work. Gujarat University, Ahmedabad, has conferred upon her a PhD degree in the Faculty of Commerce for her research on “Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG)” under the guidance of Dr. Yogesh Desai, Assistant Professor at P.D. Pandya College, Ahmedabad. 

Dr. Gopika’s academic journey is truly inspiring. She completed her schooling at Nosegay Public School Sriganganagar. She then pursued a B. Com (Honors) and M. Com from Delhi University, MBA from Lovely Professional University, Jalandhar. 

Dr. Gopika now serves as an Assistant Professor at Nirma University, Ahmedabad, where she contributes to both teaching and research. Her mentor, Dr. Yogesh Desai, praised her dedication and rigorous study, noting that her research has set high standards of quality. 

Daughter of Sanjeev Juneja and Rajni Juneja of Sriganganagar, Gopika is married to Vidur Monga, son of retired bank officer Rakesh Monga and Neelam Monga. Gopika attributed her success to the unwavering support of her parents, teachers, and mentors. She emphasized that this PhD is not just an achievement but a stepping stone toward further contributions in teaching and research. Gujarat University officials also congratulated her and expressed hope for her continued contributions in the future.
