DAV HARIPURA STUDENTS CELEBRATE RAKSHA BANDHAN AT BoP

The Student Council and NCC of Shri Guru Jambheshwar DAV Senior Secondary Public School, Haripura, under the leadership of A.N.O. Amandeep and Amandeep Kaur, celebrated Raksha Bandhan at BoP Khakian and tied Rakhi to the brave soldiers of BSF. During this, the atmosphere was filled with the colours of brotherhood, respect and patriotism. 

BSF Assistant Commandant J. Asif, while blessing the students, said that every soldier posted on the border is ready day and night to protect the country and this Rakhi is not just a thread for them, but a symbol of the trust and affection of the countrymen. 

Principal Sukhdev Singh made the children aware of their duties towards the country and inspired them to live life with mutual brotherhood and unity. The school's chairman Balbir Singh called it a wonderful confluence of patriotism and values among the students
