Face2News/Chandigarh

Haryana Chief Minister Sh. Nayab Singh Saini, following the call of Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi has taken an important initiative towards fuel saving, environmental protection and balanced use of resources by reducing the number of vehicles in his fleet by half. Only essential vehicles have been retained in the fleet from the security point of view.

Chief Minister Sh. Nayab Singh Saini has also resolved to work one day a week without using any vehicle. He said that public representatives and officers should set an example themselves and give a positive message to society.

The Chief Minister said that all ministers and departmental officers have also been directed to ensure the use of limited vehicles during travel. He appealed to officers and the general public to participate in this fuel-saving campaign by making maximum use of public transport.

The Chief Minister said that energy conservation is the responsibility of every citizen. He said that if everyone makes small efforts, significant contribution can be made not only towards fuel saving but also towards environmental protection.
