CHANDIGARH DISTT. CRIME CELL NABS DRUG SUPPLIER YOUTH HEROIN AND ICE

In a major breakthrough, the team of District Crime Cell of Chandigarh Police while petrollong  duty in the area of Police Station Sector-39, Chandigarh,  nabbed one youth drug supplier  near turn Sector 40 C/D, UT, Chandigarh, on suspicionone person was apprehended, who disclosed his name as Salman s/o Julfikar R/o # 2362/3, Small Flat, Maloya Colony, Chandigarh, Aged 20 years and 6.92 gram heroin and 9.89 grams ICE recovered from his possession respectively. In this regard a CaseFIR No 88 dated 23.5.2026 U/S 21, 22 NDPS Act PS-39, UT, Chandigarhregistered against him.

Accused Salman s/o Julfikar R/o # 2362/3, Small Flat, Maloya Colony, Chandigarh, Aged 20 years has tainted past and had previously been arrested in the following cases of NDPS by the Chandigarh Police.  FIR No. 23 dated 7.11.2025 u/s 21,22,29 NDPS Act PS-Crime, Chandigarh. FIR No. 14 dated 22.9.2025 u/s 21,29 NDPS Act PS-ANTF, Chandigarh  FIR No. 22 dated 14.2.2025 u/s 21 NDPS Act PS-Maloya, Chandigarh

During investigation it come to notice that accused Salman is working in denting painting work of vehicle and to earn easy money, he used to purchase drug on low price and further sell it on high price to earn illegal profits to drug addicts in the area of Chandigarh. Further investigation is in progress to trace forward and backward linkages involved in the drug network.
