PRINCIPAL DR. RAJESH KUMAR MAHAJAN HONORED WITH ‘PUNJAB RATNA’ AWARD

Dr. Rajesh Kumar Mahajan, Principal of DAV College Abohar, has been honored with the Punjab Ratna Award by AICOI (All India Conference of Intellectuals) in a program organized in Dehradun.

All India Conference of Intellectuals is a premier, non-political national think tank and social organization which was established in 1981 by former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. The organization regularly confers prestigious regional “Ratna” awards such as the Punjab Ratna, Uttarakhand Ratna, Jammu and Kashmir Ratna and Delhi Ratna to distinguished individuals, teachers, philanthropists and professionals who have made outstanding contributions to the society.

In this sequence, keeping in mind the excellent efforts made by Principal Dr. Rajesh Kumar Mahajan in the field of education, he was awarded Punjab Ratna.

As a result of the efforts of Dr. Mahajan, students educated in DAV College are working in big reputed companies. Teaching and non-teaching staff expressed happiness over his achievement and hope that he will continue to lead the college with the same positive energy in the future also
