UNION EDU MINISTER PRADHAN, VIRTUALLY INAUGURATES DORMITORIES OF KIKARWALA SCHOOL

Dharmendra Pradhan, Minister of Education, GOI, virtually inaugurated the newly constructed Dormitories and Staff Quarters at P.M. Shri School Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Kikarwala Rupa village. SDM Fazilka Veerpal Kaur was the chief guest from the district level.

The Union Minister congratulated the students and staff of the school and said that Kendriya Vidyalayas are providing quality education to talented rural children. Navodaya has been producing exceptional results including in the recent CBSE examinations, as well as outstanding performance in the IIT JEE results. The students from Navodaya Vidyalayas contribute immensely to science and technology for the development of the country.

(SUBHEAD)The Vidyalaya, sanctioned by the GOI in 2018, has been operational at its permanent campus spread over 11.2 Acre since June 2021. Presently, 415 students are enrolled in this Vidyalaya. The campus is well equipped with excellent classrooms, modern laboratories, play fields, a dining hall, dormitories and staff accommodation.

In the 2024-25 board examinations, 76 out of 76 students passed in 10th class CBSE examination. The School topper got 97 percent marks in 10th CBSE final exam 2025. JNV Fazilka got the second position in the 10th class exam in the Chandigarh Region
