The Punjab government has declared a gazetted holiday in the entire state on Shaheed Udham Singh's martyrdom day July 31 (Thursday). All government offices, schools and colleges will remain closed on this day.
The official spokesperson said that as per notification, in commemoration of Shaheed Udham Singh Ji's martyrdom day, July 31st, 2025 (Thursday) has been declared a gazetted holiday instead of a restricted holiday for all government offices, boards/corporations and government educational institutions across the state.
