The Punjab and Haryana High Court has granted relief to over 500 families living in Sushma Valencia Housing Society, Zirakpur, directing authorities to provide temporary electricity connections.
The court observed that residents cannot be deprived of a basic amenity like electricity during extreme summer conditions and ordered officials to work out a permanent solution.
