The Sapta Shakti Command organised a felicitation programme at Jaipur Military Station. The event brought together Veer Naris, veterans, serving personnel and their families to recognise their invaluable contribution to the nation and to reinforce support towards their empowerment and well-being.
The ceremony was graced by Devyani Jaipuria, noted educationist and philanthropist, along with members of the Champa Devi Jaipuria Charitable Trust and veteran representatives. The event highlighted the enduring partnership between the Army and civil society in advancing educational opportunities and social welfare initiatives for the Armed Forces community.
Barinder Jit Kaur Regional President Sapta Shakti Army Wives Welfare Associations (AWWA) dedicated educational infrastructure and learning resources for the benefit of Army children and specially-abled students. These included a Kids Learning Play Area for ASHA School, a state-of-the-art STEAM Laboratory for Army Public School, and tablets for students.
Lt Gen Manjinder Singh, Army Commander Sapta Shakti Command expressed gratitude for the support extended towards the education and development of defence children. He highlighted that initiatives such as the STEAM Lab and digital learning resources would equip students with skills required for a rapidly evolving future and contribute significantly to their academic growth.
