Addressing a national conference organized by the Brahma Kumaris Women’s Wing at Mount Abu on the theme “Women’s Empowerment through the Transformation of Inner Values,” Anuradha Shanghai, Chairperson of the Indo-European Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Bhopal), said that transformation does not come from politics, wealth, or power, but solely from the transformation of one’s inner values. The highest court of justice lies within us—a place where one cannot lie. Our inner world shapes our outer world. Patience and forgiveness are values that keep the mind light; they are not signs of weakness.
Film actress Shashi Sharma said that before connecting with this spiritual knowledge, she had been wandering aimlessly. She learned that she could chart her own journey. She noted that we must embody the qualities of figures like Krishna, Sita, and Draupadi, and assume the form of Durga, sharing our inner strength with everyone as a divine gift. Everything lies in our own hands. Women are excellent creators; that is why the Divine chose women for this role.
Shipra Rai, Legal Advisor at the Ministry of Finance Delhi, said that a truly empowered woman is one who has complete control over her thoughts, words, and actions. Women’s empowerment is, at its core, an internal spiritual awakening. Dinesh Kumar Gautam, Founder of the Drishti Foundation Trust (Ahmedabad), expressed his good fortune, noting that his mother shaped him, his wife helped him progress, and his daughter enriched his life.
