OPERATION WAS CARRIED OUT BY JOINT TEAM OF OPERATION CELL AND PS CRIME BRANCH AND AVERTED THE CRIMINAL INCIDENT PLOTTED BY GOLDY DHILLON,ALL THREE ACCUSED WERE APPREHENDED ALONG WITH SOPHISTICATED WEAPONS INCLUDING ONE FOREIGN MADE C47 9MM AND ONE .32 BORE AND ALONG WITH 9 LIVE CARTRIDGES RECOVERED. • ALL THREE ACCUSED HAVE PREVIOUS CRIMINAL RECORDS.

A joint team of Operation cell and PS Crime of Chandigarh police succeeded in dismantling a module of organized crime. As per the directions of Sh. Pushpendra Kumar, IPS, IG, UT, Chandigarh and Sh. Manjeet Sheoran, IPS, SP Crime, UT,
Chandigarh, under the close guidance of Sh. Vikas Sheokand, DSP Operations and Sh. Lakshay Pandey, DSP Crime and under the supervision of Insp Narinder Patial and Insp Satvinder got a major success in busting module of foreign based gangster Goldy
Dhillon by apprehending and arresting three operatives along with foreign made sophisticated weapons and thwarted the criminal conspiracy to be executed.

On dated 20.06.2026 a joint team of operation cell led by ASI Keshav and ASI Ankit was on patrolling, they received a secret information that three operatives of Goldy Dhillon Gang namely Happy Chib, Rahul Kumar and Vansh Sharma who were
equipped with automatic pistols and were roaming on bike in Chandigarh to commit some offence in tricity on directions of Goldy Dhillon. For this they would enter in Chandigarh from Mullanpur area. On this information, a joint team of Operation
Cell and Crime Branch laid a trap and after chasing them, the team over powered the all three criminals with weapons and cartridges while they were trying to escape on bike. A case FIR No. 20 dated 20.06.2026 U/S 25/54/59 Arms Act, PS Crime were
got registered against the accused.
On Interrogation: On the interrogation of accused persons, it came on record all the
three accused were in contact with gangster Goldy Dhillon through encrypted messaging apps. All three accused are close associates of cashier Janki’s murder accused held in sector 11, and they came from Jammu along with Sunny Mehra and Amit.On the direction of Goldy Dhillon, they all came from Jammu together and on reaching Punjab they were divided into two modules. The first module consisting Aryan Sharma, Sunny Mehra and Amit who executed the murder of cashier Janki in
sector 11, Chandigarh, and were already arrested while the second module consists Happy Chib, Vansh Sharma, Rahul Kumar. During that period, they remained present in Punjab area and waiting for the order of Goldy Dhillon to execute some criminal activities. As the first module was busted, Goldy Dhillon assigned them to reach Chandigarh and new target was to be given to them shortly.

Profile of accused: Happy Chib S/o Joginder Singh village Smailpur Teshil Bari Brhamana, District Samba, Jammu. Age 20 years. He was working in scrap factory in Bari Brahmana. He is an associate of Goldy Dhillon. Educational qualification- 10 th pass. Happy already have a tainted past and remained involved in many criminal activities previously and arrested many times by Jammu Police.

From there due to his personal enmity, he involved in criminal activities and came in contact with Goldy Dhillon. Educational

Educational qualification – 12th pass.  Recovery- Five live cartridges
