Tammana, a renowned NGO with over 16 years of impactful community service, celebrated the International Day of Yoga with its 167th event, ‘योग उत्सव (Yoga Utsav)’, on Sunday at the serene Garden of Fragrance, Sector 36B, Chandigarh.

The early morning session, starting at 5 AM, welcomed participants of all ages and experience levels, uniting them in the spirit of wellness and harmony. Held amidst nature’s calm, the event featured expert-led yoga practices that energized both body and mind.

(SUBHEAD)Isha Kakaria, Founder President of Tammana, shared: “Yoga Utsav was organised free to inspire more individuals to explore the many benefits of yoga—whether they’re beginners or seasoned practitioners seeking collective energy. Our 167th event marks another stride in our mission to promote holistic well-being. We are grateful to Dr. Manisha Sharma, Naturopath & a professional Social Worker, for conducting this beautiful session.”

Jasmine, the event coordinator, said, “The experience included not just yoga but also chanting and laughter sessions in a beautiful natural setting. Post the event, members played badminton to encourage outdoor physical activity. Participants brought their own mats, water bottles, and came dressed in comfortable attire.”

Fruits and fresh juices were served as healthy refreshments. The event aimed to promote physical fitness, mental clarity, and community spirit through the timeless practice of yoga, as highlighted by PR Executive P Varuna.
