BLOOD DONATION CAMP ORGANIZED AT GOPICHAND ARYA MAHILA COLLEGE

A blood donation camp was organized by the Women’s Studies Center in collaboration with Red Ribbon Club, NSS Unit and History Department at Gopichand Arya Mahila College, Abohar. Students and others participated enthusiastically in the camp and gave the message of service to humanity. The staff of Civil Hospital, Abohar had special support in making the blood donation camp successful. The hospital staff played an important role in smoothly running the necessary arrangements related to blood collection and camp.

Red Ribbon Club Coordinator Dr. Neeraj Mehta, NSS Program Officer Sunil Soni and Women’s Studies Center Coordinator Amandeep Kaur played important roles in organizing the camp. Dr. Manoj Phutela, Vanita Makkar, Paridhi Kataria, Dinesh Sharma and Rishu also provided active support in the organizing committee.

Principal Dr. Rekha Sood Handa said that blood donation is an act of selfless service, through which we can contribute in saving the life of a needy person. She said that such activities are very important to develop the spirit of service, cooperation and social responsibility among the youth. She expressed his gratitude to the staff of Civil Hospital Abohar, the organizer members and all the blood donors who helped in making the blood donation camp a success.
