TWO-DAY ‘TALENT HUNT 2026’ CONCLUDED AT DAV COLLEGE

A two-day ‘Talent Hunt 2026’ was successfully organized under the guidance of Dr. Rajesh Kumar Mahajan, Principal of DAV College here.

On the first day, various competitions were held, including creative writing, poetry recitation, story writing, essay writing, and fine arts (such as landscape drawing and poster making), alongside traditional crafts like Phulkari, Mehndi, Pakhi making, doll making, Paranda making, basket weaving, and Peedhi making, as well as Rassa-Vattna and photography. Students participated with great enthusiasm and keen interest, showcasing their creative talents.

On the second day, students enthusiastically took part in events such as quiz, Ghazal, Geet, folk songs, group songs, Shabad, and Bhajan and folk dances (group dance, Bhangra, and Giddha). The students’ zeal and energy were truly remarkable, and a large number of them gathered in the auditorium to witness the events. At the conclusion of the program, the winners were honored with prizes. Dr. Rajesh Kumar, Principal of DAV College, Malout, was present as the chief guest, while Ravinder Singh Bhitti, Station House Officer (SHO) of Abohar City-2 Police Station, graced the occasion as the guest of honour.
