Punjab congress Media Cell does not know the different between Birth and Death Anniversary . 

Punjab Congress today issued a press note saying “” On the occasion of the death anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, a solemn tribute programme was organised at Punjab Congress Bhawan, Sector-15, Chandigarh, where Congress leaders and workers paid floral tributes to the Father of the Nation.

Among those present on the occasion were Shri Ravindra Dalvi, Secretary, AICC; Shri Harcharan Singh Sotha, Former President, DCC; Shri Harpreet Singh Sidhu, President, DCC Fazilka; Shri Ranjit Singh Nagalia, District Chairman, SC Department; Shri Kuljit Singh Bedi, Deputy Mayor, Mohali; Shri Rajwant Rai Sharma; Shri Parshotam Lal Khalifa; Shri Pushpinder Sharma; Shri Sukhbir Singh Chaudhary; Shri Harbans Khippal; Shri Sarabjit Singh Khaira; and Shri Kulwinder Singh Gill.

The leaders paid floral tributes to Mahatma Gandhi and remembered his invaluable contribution to India’s freedom struggle and his enduring message of truth, non-violence, peace, communal harmony and equality. They reaffirmed their commitment to upholding the values and principles for which Mahatma Gandhi dedicated his life.
