Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Monday conducted raids at branches of Park Hospital across Punjab. ED teams arrived today morning at Patiala and Bathinda, ED teams along with local police personnel searching on inputs.
During the operation, officials examined the hospitals’ administrative offices and documents. They also questioned officials associated with the hospital management.
The investigation reportedly covers financial transactions, tax payments and records related to claims made under government schemes. ED officials are also examining digital data stored on computers and servers, along with other electronic devices, billing records, bank account statements and related documents. The action may be linked to complaints concerning alleged financial irregularities or violations of regulations. However, the Ehas not officially confirmed the reasons behind the searches. No official release was issued and nor any FIR registered. sources said.
