Raj Sadosh/Abohar.
Senior BJP leader Vijay Sampla, former Chairman of the National Commission for Scheduled Castes and ex Union Minister, along with the Punjab Scheduled Caste Morcha State President, Sheetal Angural, visited the protest site at the government hospital. They assured slain youth Ajay’s family to make every possible effort to ensure the perpetrators are punished.
Both of them launched a sharp attack on the AAP government in Punjab, stating that when a victim’s family is forced to stage a protest to seek justice following the murder of their son, it clearly reflects a failure of the government’s system.
Sampla and Angural emphasized that securing justice for Ajay’s family is not merely a struggle for one household, but a matter of upholding public trust in the rule of law. They delivered a firm message to the police administration that any form of negligence or laxity in the investigation would not be tolerated.
MLA Sandeep Jakhar asserted that Ajay’s family deserves justice and that the case must be investigated impartially, ensuring the family does not have to wander from pillar to post seeking redress. He appealed to the Chief Minister to visit the protest site during his scheduled trip to Abohar on November 1 and ensure justice.
Sukhwinder Singh ‘Kaka’ Kamboj, the BJP Fazilka District President, expressed solidarity with the bereaved family. He said that those responsible for Ajay’s murder must not be spared under any circumstances. The BJP stands firmly with the family in their pursuit of justice, and the struggle will continue with full vigour until strict action is taken against the culprits
