SCHOOL VAN DRIVER IN ABOHAR WINS RS. 1 LAKH IN LOTTERY

Raj Sadosh/Abohar.

A school van driver’s fortunes took a turn for the better when a lottery ticket costing just Rs 7 won him a prize of Rs 1 lakh.

Raghav Nagpal, who runs the ‘Manokamna Lottery Center’ near the Railway Station said that Sunil Singh had purchased 20 lottery tickets—each priced at Rs 7—and Rs 10 of these tickets turned out to be winners, each fetching a prize of Rs 10,000. He added that many others have also won prizes at the center, with several individuals having the opportunity to secure significant sums of money.

According to Raghav Nagpal, there is always a sense of excitement among those who purchase lottery tickets at his center. Sunil Singh’s win serves as another example where a very low-cost ticket led to a substantial cash prize. It should be noted, however, that lotteries are entirely a matter of chance, and there is no guarantee of winning.

For Sunil Singh, winning Rs 1 lakh from Rs 7 investment is undoubtedly a memorable experience for which his family is feeling delighted
