OVER 60 WOMEN BENEFIT FROM HEALTH CAMP ORGANISED BY CHANDIGARH PRESS CLUB

More than 60 women journalists and women family members of the Chandigarh Press Club members benefited from a health camp organised by the Chandigarh Press Club in association with the Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), Sector 32, at the Club premises on Saturday.

As part of the camp, 37 women underwent screening mammography for the early detection of breast malignancy, while 67 members availed themselves of bone density tests.

The health camp, aimed at promoting preventive healthcare among women, was organised at the Club premises. The initiative was open to women journalists as well as women family members of the Club’s members, said Rajesh Dhall, Secretary General of the Club.
