BURSTING CRACKERS FROM A BULLET BIKE PROVED COSTLY: BIKE ALSO IMPOUNDED AND FINE OF RS 32,000 ALSO IMPOSED

Taking strict action against violation of traffic rules in the city, Panchkula Traffic Police has caught a bullet bike rider near Polytechnic College in Sector 26 for making noises like crackers and creating a ruckus. In this case, the traffic police has impounded the bike and a heavy fine of Rs 32,000 has also been imposed against the driver concerned.

City Traffic Incharge Inspector Sunil Kumar said that the said youth was not only causing noise pollution by using illegal silencer in his bullet bike and making loud sounds like crackers, but was also endangering the safety of pedestrians and other drivers.

Inspector Sunil Kumar said that the driver who violated the rules was stopped on the spot and explained and made aware about the seriousness of traffic rules and the need to follow them.
